A static IP enabled camera was mounted on the roof of a Hotel across the street front the museum.

A custom wireless camera was designed and built to fit on the boom of the crane. The antenna broadcasts what the operator sees to a base station 250 feet below.

Using a time lapse capture module we were able to capture single frames every day during construction from a static IP enabled camera that was mounted on the roof of a Hotel across the street front the ROM.

Crane camera was installed to broadcast the construction progress to engineers and students.

In addition any approach within 30 feet of the warehouse or target areas initiates a voice warning system.

Internet enabled pan-tilt-zoom cameras are also used to allow line haul carriers to inspect any damage to products before they are unloaded thus absolutely confirming where liabilities lie.

Longmont Hospital has 40 existing analog cameras that were converted to IP video through the DETEXI VLU (Video Link Unit) Blade Server. Now these cameras are easily accessible from any DETEXI client on the network.

A wireless DETEXI PDA client is also used by Security for mobile connectivity. The cameras are used in a variety of locations throughout the hospital for monitoring and recording critical areas.

Upon the request of Longmont, the DETEXI team built a special floating PTZ camera that can be wirelessly deployed in problem areas throughout the facility. This video can be displayed and accessed in the same fashion as fixed cameras.

The City of Longmont is currently deploying the DETEXI equipment as an enterprise-wide surveillance system. Currently the main areas of focus are the city's water supply and filtration areas as well as the city library. For the water facilities, DETEXI is used for perimeter monitoring and water supply visualization throughout the Longmont area. This application provides effective security monitoring which allows video to be viewed locally at the water treatment plant as well as remotely at the municipal offices. This site was challenging because of its terrain as well as other constraints. The DETEXI team recommended a wireless system that saved the city thousands in wiring costs.

The Longmont City Library recently joined this city-wide application in their use of the DETEXI equipment due to a few growing security concerns such as homeless individuals finding overnight shelter in the stairwells as well as bathroom vandalism. This IP surveillance system consists of cameras placed throughout the library and around the perimeter. Using the DETEXI NVR and DETEXI Clients, Longmont now has local and remote live monitoring in place as well as records of all activity (recording only on motion) in and around the library during and after normal operating hours.

With the growing number of DETEXI applications in the City of Longmont, they are taking advantage of the unique Domain Control features of the system, which allows them to link all of the separate NVR's and their camera configurations together in one Domain Controller configuration. Through the Domain Controller, they can monitor cameras, administer configuration changes as well as monitor server status on both the water and library systems from one location or locally on the systems themselves.

4 Seasons Carpet Workshop is a premier supplier of flooring equipment such as carpeting and tiles for many of the large installers in the area. They are presently using the DETEXI system to monitor all activity inside and out of their main facility.

The DETEXI system worked out so well, that they recently expanded the system with additional cameras at a second 20,000 square foot warehouse location.
Now from the main headquarters, they have complete visibility for all deliveries and pick-ups as well as day-to-day operations.

Amerada Hess, Inc. has many off-shore oil rigs and has satellite connectivity with these locations. They are presently using the DETEXI equipment with wireless connectivity to monitor activity on these remote oil rigs.

The DETEXI system is initially being implemented for security monitoring of the several electric sub-stations throughout the area. All of these sub-stations are linked together through a fiber Ethernet network and have several DETEXI cameras throughout their entire infrastructure.

The Wastewater Company is presently using DETEXI equipment for monitoring this critical wastewater treatment plant, which processes 200 million gallons of wastewater per day. This system is using wireless connectivity to communicate with the various camera located throughout the facility.

The campus of Woodstock Academy, a semi-public high school, sits upon a hill in Woodstock Connecticut overlooking the Massachusetts and Rhode Island state lines. The DETEXI equipment is used to monitor and secure the perimeters of the campus, as well as the happenings within, especially after hours.

This division of FERRO manufactures a variety of polymer additives that are used in products such as Adhesives, Caulks, Sealants, Agricultural Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Food Additives, Resilient Flooring, Wire and Cable, etc. FERRO is using the DETEXI system to monitor both their internal process as well as the perimeter for security.

The Water Bottling Company has several (16) wirelessly connected sites located throughout New England where water is pumped from the ground called Bore Holes. The water is then trucked to the bottling plants where it is filtered and bottled.

This application uses 900 MHz Ethernet radios to communicate to the 16 remote sites as well as a combination of fiber and copper Ethernet back at the bottling plants.

In all, there are about 100 cameras being managed by two DETEXI servers. These cameras are monitoring the Bore Hole activity, the bottling plant perimeters as well as the process of bottling the water within the plants.

The BROCTON COA (COUNCIL ON AGING) is an impressive facility that essentially is a community center for middle to upper age people to congregate. For the safety of all, they went with a DETEXI system that is using 802.11 wireless connectivity to connect to several cameras throughout their facility.
